How much protein do we need to consume?

I get this question a lot. How much protein should I consume daily? Did you know that 70% of women consume less than 60g of protein a day? That is bare minimum to survive. I am a firm believer that we need at MINIMUM 100g of protein daily. The perfect amount if you are to guess, or aim for something, is to eat 130-150g of protein daily. If you want exact amount, take your body weight x .7. For example:

180lbs x .7 = 126g of protein. Round up, 130g.
